How do I know if the gear will be available for my hire dates?

Simply enter your pick-up and drop-off time and dates into the calendar located at the top the page and easily see your availability and hire cost. 

It's my first time hiring, what do I need to do?

For your first hire you will need to bring in photo identification.

It is also a condition of hire that you will sign the "Rental Agreement" each time you take out equipment.

Where do I pick up and drop off?

Our office is located within Frankx Studio on the Sunshine Coast, QLD at 2/38 Technology Drive, Warana, 4575 and we are open Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.

Do you deliver or post equipment?

Unfortunately, delivery and shipping are not services we offer.

What happens if the gear is damaged?

The hiring process requires you to sign the "Rental Agreement" for which you take responsibility for the equipment while it is in your possession and for this reason, we do encourage all renters to ensure they have appropriate insurance.

The renter is liable for any accidental damage that occurs to the equipment while it is in the possession of the renter and as such the renter is required to pay for the cost of all replacement and repairs for damaged equipment.

Should a claim need to be made through East Coast Camera's insurance provider, a $1,000.00 excess is made payable by the renter, and should the insurance company find the renter negligent they may seek retrieval of all costs associated with damage.
